Reference Checker service scope
The hosted checker is being prepared. This page is not accepting payment and does not represent an approved public ChatGPT plugin listing.
The checker provides partial, source-based reference assessments for review. A supported correction changes only evidenced fields. A local match does not establish whole-reference correctness, and a local miss or processing failure does not establish fabrication. DBLP’s computer-science coverage and the stored snapshot date limit what it can verify.
The initial service configuration provides 10 completed reference checks per account per UTC calendar month, subject to shared daily capacity. Each successful reference operation consumes a unit even if the result is unresolved or requires review. Failed local processing does not debit a unit. Duplicate calls can consume additional units; website job polling and retries with the same retained job identifier do not repeat the check.
Optional external metadata retrieval can fail independently. Retrieved candidates are not automatically verified identities, error classifications or full corrected citations. Review the publication and its version against primary sources before changing a bibliography.
No unlimited usage or continuous availability is promised. Paid reference packs are a planned option, not a product offered for purchase here. Any future paid checkout must disclose its price, allowance, capacity limits and applicable purchase terms before payment. Existing WordPress products are separate.
