4. Information We Do Not Collect Directly

We do not ask users to provide personal identity information directly inside the App.

In normal use of the App, we do not directly ask for or collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your postal address
  • Your personal documents
  • Your private messages
  • Your contacts
  • Your photos or videos
  • Your camera or microphone content
  • Your precise GPS location
  • Your payment card number
  • Your bank account information

The App is primarily an educational flashcard app. Users can use the learning content without creating an account with INGOAMPT.

5. Firebase Analytics and Measurement

The App may use Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase, a service provided by Google,
to help us understand general app usage, improve the App, diagnose funnel performance, and measure the effectiveness
of marketing or advertising campaigns.

Firebase Analytics may collect app usage and behavior information, such as app opens, screen views, feature interactions,
session information, app version, device information, language settings, analytics events, and technical information.

The App may log learning and funnel events such as:

  • Opening the flashcard screen
  • Starting or completing the introduction
  • Swiping flashcards
  • Tapping audio buttons
  • Viewing the premium unlock screen
  • Tapping the premium unlock button
  • Purchase success or restore events, where available

These events help us understand whether users understand the App, whether the free cards are useful,
whether users reach the premium screen, and whether the App design can be improved.

Firebase Analytics may use identifiers such as app-instance identifiers, device-related identifiers, and other analytics identifiers
to provide measurement and analytics reports. Where required, collection or use of advertising identifiers depends on device settings,
consent status, and applicable platform rules.

6. AdMob, Banner Ads, and Google Mobile Ads

The current version of the App may display Google AdMob banner ads for free users.

Banner ads help support the free version of the App. Users who purchase premium access can unlock the full flashcard pack
and remove banner ads from the App.

Google Mobile Ads / AdMob may collect or process information for advertising, ad delivery, ad measurement,
fraud prevention, security, analytics, and performance purposes. Depending on Google’s SDK behavior, user consent,
region, device settings, and ad settings, this may include information such as:

  • Device information
  • IP address, which may be used to estimate approximate location
  • Advertising identifiers, where available and permitted
  • Device identifiers or app identifiers
  • Ad interactions
  • App interactions related to ad delivery
  • Crash logs or diagnostic information
  • Performance data
  • Advertising data and measurement information

Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your consent choices, region, Google settings,
Apple tracking permission status, and applicable law.

We do not directly choose or manually view personal profiles of users through AdMob. Ad serving and ad measurement
are provided by Google and its advertising systems according to Google’s policies and user choices.

7. Google User Messaging Platform and Consent

The App may use Google User Messaging Platform (“UMP”) to request, display, and manage privacy or advertising
consent messages where required, including for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland,
or other regions where such consent messages may apply.

Through Google consent messages, users may be asked to consent, manage options, or decline certain advertising or data processing purposes.
The exact options shown may depend on Google’s message configuration, the user’s region, applicable law, and Google’s SDK behavior.

Consent choices may affect whether personalized ads, non-personalized ads, limited ads, or certain measurement features are used.

8. Apple App Tracking Transparency

Where Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (“ATT”) rules apply, the App may request permission before using data for tracking purposes
as defined by Apple, including access to the device’s Identifier for Advertisers (“IDFA”).

If you deny tracking permission, the App should not use the IDFA for tracking purposes. You can manage tracking permission later
in your device settings, where Apple provides such controls.

The ATT request is separate from Google’s consent message. Apple’s ATT prompt controls tracking permission on iOS/iPadOS.
Google’s UMP consent message helps manage advertising and privacy choices for Google ad services where applicable.

9. Types of Data That May Be Collected or Processed

Depending on your device settings, region, consent choices, and the features used, the following categories of information may be collected
or processed by third-party services used in the App:

  • Usage Data: app opens, screen views, feature interactions, session duration, card swipes, audio taps, paywall views, reset actions, restore actions, and purchase-related events.
  • Device and App Information: device type, operating system version, app version, app bundle information, language settings, and technical information needed for analytics or ad reporting.
  • Identifiers: app-instance identifiers, vendor identifiers, advertising identifiers where available and permitted, or other device/app identifiers used by analytics or advertising SDKs.
  • Approximate Location: general country or region may be inferred from IP address or device/network information for analytics, ad delivery, fraud prevention, or reporting. The App does not collect precise GPS location for normal flashcard use.
  • Advertising Data: information related to ad requests, ad delivery, ad impressions, ad interactions, ad performance, and advertising measurement.
  • Diagnostics: crash logs, performance data, SDK diagnostics, app launch information, hang rate, or other technical information used to maintain quality and reliability.
  • Purchase-Related Events: limited purchase or conversion events may be measured to understand premium unlock performance, restore success, or marketing effectiveness. Payment details are handled by Apple.

We do not use this information to personally contact users, and we do not sell it to data brokers.

10. How Data Is Used

Analytics, advertising, and measurement data may be used for the following purposes:

  • App Functionality: to support, maintain, and improve the App experience.
  • Analytics: to understand how users interact with the App in an aggregated or measurement-based way.
  • Product Improvement: to identify whether users understand the introduction, use the cards, reach the premium screen, or need better design and explanations.
  • Advertising: to show banner ads to free users where permitted.
  • Ad Measurement: to measure ad impressions, ad interactions, and ad performance.
  • Marketing Measurement: to understand whether campaigns used to promote the App lead to installs, usage, paywall views, or purchases.
  • Purchase Funnel Analysis: to understand where users stop before purchasing, so we can improve the App and its onboarding.
  • Security and Abuse Prevention: to help protect the App, users, ads, and services from fraud, misuse, or technical abuse.
  • Legal Compliance: to comply with applicable laws, regulations, platform requirements, or lawful requests if required.

11. In-App Purchases and Payments

The App may offer an Apple-managed one-time in-app purchase for premium access.

Premium access may unlock the full flashcard pack of around 1000 German flashcards and remove banner ads from the App.

Payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store. INGOAMPT does not collect or store your payment card number,
bank account information, or full billing details through the App.

Apple may process payment, tax, refund, and purchase-related information according to Apple’s own privacy practices and App Store rules.

The App may locally recognize whether a purchase is active in order to unlock paid features and remove ads.
If analytics measurement is enabled, limited purchase or conversion events may also be used to understand App performance
and marketing effectiveness.

12. Accounts and Registration

The App does not require users to create an INGOAMPT account to use the main flashcard learning features.

We do not maintain usernames, passwords, social profiles, or account pages for this App unless a future version clearly adds such functionality.

13. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We may process or share limited analytics, advertising, consent, and measurement information with third-party service providers
that help us operate, monetize, understand, and improve the App.

Third-party services used by the App may include:

  • Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase: used for analytics, app improvement, event measurement, and marketing or advertising campaign measurement.
  • Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK: used to display banner ads to free users, measure ad performance, support ad delivery, and help prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Google User Messaging Platform: used to show privacy and advertising consent messages where required.
  • Apple StoreKit / App Store: used for in-app purchases, purchase validation, restore purchase functionality, payment processing, and premium access recognition.

We do not sell personal data to data brokers. We do not directly share your name, email address, phone number, contacts,
photos, videos, or precise GPS location through this App because the App does not ask you to provide those items for normal use.

We may disclose information if required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or lawful request from public authorities,
or where necessary to protect rights, safety, prevent fraud, investigate misuse, or enforce legal terms.

14. Data Retention and Deletion

Analytics, advertising, and measurement data may be retained by Google, Firebase, AdMob, or Apple according to their own retention settings,
policies, platform rules, and the configuration selected for the relevant service.

We do not maintain a separate INGOAMPT user account database for this App.

Because the App does not require account registration with INGOAMPT, we may not always be able to identify a specific user
from analytics or advertising data alone.

Users may contact us at ingoampt@yahoo.com for privacy-related questions.
Users may also manage certain privacy choices through iOS settings, Apple tracking settings, Google consent messages where available,
or Google advertising settings.

15. Security

We take privacy and security seriously and aim to keep the App simple, useful, and respectful of users.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we work to use reasonable safeguards and trusted service providers,
we cannot guarantee absolute security.

16. Children’s Privacy

Protecting children’s privacy is important to us.

The App is designed as a general German language learning app and is not specifically directed to children under 13.
The App may include analytics and advertising SDKs. Parents and guardians should review this Privacy Policy and the App Store privacy information
before allowing a child to use the App.

We do not knowingly ask children to provide direct personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers,
postal addresses, contacts, photos, or private messages through the App.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us directly, please contact us at
ingoampt@yahoo.com and we will review the matter.

17. Third-Party Links

The App or related pages may contain links to third-party websites or services, such as the Apple App Store,
Google, Firebase, AdMob, or other related information pages.

If you open a third-party website or service, that third party’s own privacy policy and terms will apply.
We encourage users to review third-party privacy policies before using third-party services.

18. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have privacy rights under applicable law, such as the right to request access,
correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or information about how data is processed.

Because the App does not require an INGOAMPT account and does not directly collect your name or email address through the App,
we may not always be able to identify a specific user from analytics or advertising data alone.

Your choices may include:

  • Managing Apple App Tracking Transparency permission in iOS/iPadOS settings.
  • Managing advertising consent through Google consent messages where available.
  • Managing Google advertising personalization through Google settings where available.
  • Purchasing premium access to remove banner ads from the App.
  • Contacting us at ingoampt@yahoo.com with privacy-related questions.

19. App Store Privacy Information

Apple requires developers to provide privacy information in App Store Connect, including information about data collected by third-party SDKs.
The App Store privacy information for this App should be kept consistent with this Privacy Policy and with the SDKs used in the App.

Because this App uses Firebase Analytics, Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform, and Apple StoreKit,
App Store privacy details may need to disclose categories such as usage data, identifiers, diagnostics, advertising data,
purchase-related events, and approximate location where applicable.

The exact App Store privacy answers may depend on the final SDK configuration, consent behavior, regional availability,
and whether optional features are enabled. If the App’s data practices change, the App Store privacy information should also be updated.

20. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time if the App changes, if Firebase, AdMob, analytics, consent, purchase,
or advertising settings change, or if legal or platform requirements change.

When we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

If new analytics tools, ad networks, account features, subscriptions, social features, or other data-related features are added in the future,
this Privacy Policy and the App Store privacy information should be updated accordingly.
